Kimberly Dougherty Named to The Best Lawyers in America 2019 Edition

Dougherty is a Partner of Andrus Wagstaff, PC, where her practice is focused on the representation of individuals who have been seriously injured by pharmaceuticals and medical devices. She also represents courageous survivors of Sexual Assault in sports, school, and other contexts. She previously served as President of the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association (WBA) for 2015-2016 and has been a long-standing Board of Governor for MATA and served as Co-Chair of its Women’s Caucus for eight years. She was also selected as the Revitalization Chair in Massachusetts to serve on the Board of Governors for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) from 2014-2016. Dougherty has also been honored for her trial work and received many prestigious accolades. She was named ‘Lawyer of the Year’ in 2014 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. She also received the President’s Award from Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA) for her contributions on gender equity issues in the profession in both 2014 and 2015. Dougherty has been recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer, Top 25 Mass Tort Trial Lawyer and Top 25 Women Trial Lawyer in her region by the National Trial Lawyers Association and named by Massachusetts Super Lawyers® to their Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts 2017-2018 list, a Super Lawyer 2014-2017 and a Rising Star 2009-2013.

Dougherty is also a volunteer advocate, continuing to serve on the Board of the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association. She has regularly testified at the State House on laws to protect the rights of women and children, and lobbying legislators on those laws, as well as the importance of increasing gender diversity in the judiciary and elected office.
